September Ads: Vogue Is the One Mag to Rule Them All Again

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

September advertising pages are in and, holy whackamole, Vogue has the highest number of pages. According to WWD, the Anna Wintour-manned mag is up 1 percent in ad pages from last year, and the increase holds steady across the board—i.e. brands are buying print ad pages again. Harper's Bazaar is up 10 percent from last year, Allure is up 12 percent, Marie Claire is up 13.5 percent and Cosmo is up a whopping 16 percent. Tip-o-the-hat to you, Coles. Above check out all the mag's September ad pages by the numbers.
