Proenza Schouler Releases Trippy Sasha Pivovarova Video

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Proenza Schouler's fall campaign video, directed by David Sims, is heavily influenced by digital art. It's weird, beautiful, and features some starscapes that look straight out of an acid trip — only with a menacing edge, thanks to the soundtrack by Muuy Biien.

It also features a model we haven't seen very much of recently: Sasha Pivovarova, the aughts Prada campaign queen. Pivovarova popped up at the fall season Proenza show, so seeing her in the campaign makes sense.
