Marni's Evening Wear Lookbook Is Heaven Sent for Low-Key Style

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Marni is launching its new "evening wear" line in November when resort generally hits, but the lookbook preview above offers some interesting styling for nights out—like, for example, loafers paired with a skirt that hits below the knee. The black, white, and red collection was created for the die-hards, according to WWD, which makes sense considering price points include "$600 for silk duchesse tops to $5,530 for an embroidered belted coat with nutria fur cuffs." But the styling is for all. Take notes above.
