Coco Rocha's new cut. Photo via Instagram.
Following Beyoncé's lead, it looks like everyone is just "being Miley" right now (Disclaimer: She didn't do it first, she did do early on this year then writhed about on covers and in videos) and chopping all their freaking hair off. The latest to jump aboard the short hair train is major model Coco Rocha, who cropped her famous red hair into a Tilda Swinton-meets-Michelle Williams pixie yesterday. Revealing the change in a series of live-Tweeted photos and updates that somehow managed to move beyond "cutting," "more cutting," and "still cutting," the model let husband James Conran take the first snip (#brave) before stylist Anh Co Tran stepped in. If this is the summer of the pixie, we predict fall will be the season of the bobby pin. [BellaSugar]
Looks like Isaac Mizrahi might have chosen the wrong time for a Tweezerman collab, since a rise in searches for Cara Delevingne is being blamed by Google for declines in the amount of people searching for "eyebrow plucking" and "tweezers." [VogueUK]
Following Kelly Clarkson's Deborah Lippman collab, fellow Idol-teer Carrie Underwood is launching a 14-shade nail collection with Nicole by OPI due out in January. [Refinery29]
And in other nail news, nail art pioneer and Wah Nails owner Sharmadean Reid has opened her own Street Casting Agency, and apparently lilac is the nail color du jour. [Refinery29]
If you need a dress or hair to match those nails, Rent the Runway is moving into haircare with a new partnership with Wella Professionals that will include hair how-to videos and styling tips.[WWD]
Oh, and looks like tongue patches are out and the new frontier of weight loss retailing is apparently tapeworms, with women in Shanghai buying them in pill form for as much as $200. Extreme! [TheGloss]
