Editors, bloggers and buyers were ecstatic over H&M's new Paris Collection when it walked down the runway at the Rodin Museum in Paris in February. Described by H&M's head of design as "effortless" and "cool," it was those things and more. There were chic over-the-knee boots, caplets, studded leather shorts, sharp little jackets, sexy beaded dresses, kicky miniskirts and floor-length gowns [watch the show here]. It was so stylish that Lucky styled cover girl Blake Lively in it in their September issue. Now, via our sister site in NY, we get word that the Paris Collection will go up on the web for pre-order way before the pieces hit 200 H&M stores worldwide on September 5th.
Lucky New Yorkers can queue up at a two-day-long H&M pop-up shop opening in the Meatpacking District to try on the Paris Collection, but won't be able to transact in store. Instead, they'll basically be getting a first-hand look (and feel) of the line, and then will be able to preorder online. Log on August 22nd to snag your selections early.
