Uniqlo's won a sizable adult audience for its affordable, high-quality basics and now they're looking to take over the kid's clothing market. This morning, the Japan-based retailer debuted its new boys and girls collection exclusively online. The clothes, which will land in stores Friday, are designed for babies, toddlers and kids up to age 12.
Prices are pretty insane. Onesies and tops start at $3.90, jeans are $19.90 and outerwear, including Uniqlo's stellar puffer coats, is just $39.90. Said Uniqlo's CEO in a statement: "The collection encapsulates the high quality design aesthetic and innovative fabrics that UNIQLO uses across all its collections, and we are confident the collection will be a success among both current and new UNIQLO customers."
