The Most-Viewed NYFW Livestreams Are Pretty Surprising

New York Fashion Week spring 2014 marked a big leap in the number of those watching shows online, according to Mashable and number crunchers at IMG and live-streaming provider Rightster. They're reporting that over 630,000 people watched shows live or on-demand from 59 designers, or about 50% more than last February. You'll never guess who make up the top five. (It's entirely possible you might guess which brand took number one.)

According to Mashable, the top five most viewed in order are the following:
1. Michael Kors
2. Nanette Lepore
3. Carmen Marc Valvo
4. Marissa Webb
5. BCBG Max Azria

While we're sure everything from timing to promotion to a number of hidden factors effect the number of views each brand received, it's surprising that Marc Jacobs or even J.Crew were among the top viewed.
