Hedi Slimane is reaching even further back in the classics archives for his Saint Laurent music project—back to the biggest names in rhythm and blues. B.B. King, Chuck Berry and Jerry Lee Lewis (!), 88, 86 and 77 respectively, sat for Slimane's black and white photography project.
One legend, B.B. King, was outfitted in a custom Le Smoking, while Chuck Berry and Jerry Lee Lewis chose tuxedos (Berry further accessorized with a bolo tie and captain's hat).
Up until now, the majority of the icons tapped for the project contributed to the eau de '90s—Courtney Love, Daf Punk Beck, Marilyn Manson, etc. They were bookended by Christopher Owens of the aughts and Kim Gordon of the '80s.
