The Hello Kitty jet that all of America has been waiting for made its inaugural US journey yesterday, landing at LAX in Los Angeles with all the pomp and circumstance you'd expect from an airline that painted a cartoon cat all over its fleet. Yesterday's journey was the adorable plane's first international flight, and once wheels were down, a party sprung up on the tarmac. Racked's LA editors were on the scene to document the cute overload, from bobbleheaded dancing Sanrio characters to Hello Kitty in-flight menus to the baby pink stewardess uniforms to the nail art station to tiny Hello Kitty foodstuffs like waffles and parfaits to the air sickness bags to vomit said tiny foodstuffs into.
A group of assorted celebrities with varying levels of fame attended (America's Next Top Model Miss J. Alexander, anyone?); Hello Kitty herself also made the trip. Click over to Racked LA for a full photo journey of the wondrous spectacle.
