This Is the Comfiest Heeled Bootie You'll Wear This Fall

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Today's pick comes from Racked Philly editor Julie Davis.

DV by Dolce Vita Java booties, $88.22—$122.55 on Amazon

I'm typically as graceful as a newborn gazelle when wearing a pair of heels, but that's not the case in DV by Dolce Vita's Java bootie. A perfectly reasonable stacked heel height of two inches is just enough to give my legs some length—without making me teeter around like Frankenstein. Plus, I can wear these all day, every day without getting a blister.

These suede booties pair equally well with a skirt or skinny pants (the Java's available in a range of color options), and the ankle strap adds just a tiny bit of detail without being overdone. This is a past-season style, but DV by Dolce Vita adds similar bootie styles to its lineup on the regular.
