Nordstrom, the quintessential American high-end department store, has a taste for European fashion labels. After the runaway success of its Topshop shop-in-shops, the retailer has announced that it will be opening French-themed pop-ups in eight locations and online October 10. France is the first in what will be a series of concepts.

Named Pop-In @ Nordstrom, the green-and-white self-contained shops will offer, per Harper's, Kenzo sweatshirts, vintage Chanel and YSL bags and pieces from Merci in Paris. Nordstrom will be the first, and as of now the exclusive, retailer for Merci in the United States. Though an exact list of locations has yet to be released, it's safe to assume that large stores in major cities will land pop-ups—we're guessing San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, DC, South Florida and Seattle.
