Jill Stuart's Spring 2014 Collection Is a Little Bit Rock 'n Roll

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Jill Stuart sent models down the runway ready to keep walking to the French Riviera, where they'll proceed to party with members of the Rolling Stones (in their glory days, of course). Her inspiration was some rock stars girlfriend really kicking back in exotic locales in patterned maillots and cutout babydoll dresses. Rough life. The palette varied from black to white to kind of a grey-blueish color because when you jetset, you don't have time to match.
