Diane von Furstenberg's spring 2014 collection was heavy on the animal prints, including all-over zebra striped caftan and even a silhouette of Mufasa a lion on a couple shifts. There were less direct Saharan references as well, but the main aspect of the show catching people's attention was the party. "Get Lucky" and "Blurred Lines" blasted out the speakers, the models Jourdan Dunn, Joan Smalls, Karlie Kloss, Karen Elson and Naomi Campbell strutted, and DVF took a dancey victory lap. It all goes to show that Diane can travel around the world but she always, somehow ends up in a disco.
