Airport Shopping Leads to a Pair of Minimalist Boots

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Today's pick comes from Racked Vegas editor Susan Stapleton.

Yellow Box Christie boots, $82,

Every time I fly out of Terminal 3 at McCarran International Airport, I try to get there a little early and leave a little extra luggage room so that I can shop at Apricot Lane. I always seem to buy minimalist outfits there. On my last trip, I found these Yellow Box Christie boots with a side zipper and a buckle. The silver on the toe and the heel give them a timeless look, and heck, they go with everything. While Apricot Lane doesn't have its own website for shopping online, you can find them at, another Vegas-based company.
