Designer Roberto Cavalli and the city of Miami go together like leopard-print minidresses and clubs named "Creme" and "Blush." The godfather of Italian flash has decided to bring his restaurant concept to South Beach, reports Racked Miami, making it the first Cavalli eatery to open in the US (he has several abroad, including clubs, cafes and a vineyard).
The restaurant is
gaudy colorfully designed with Cavalli textiles and serves Tuscan-inspired Italian food, wine and cocktails. Cavalli says his favorite dishes are the Tuscan Chianina beef tartare with quail egg, light mustard and truffle salt and the lobster consommé.
