Chanel, under the creative direction of one Karl Lagerfeld, has taken the Sporty Spice trend to haute couture ends with sneakers and knee pads—glittery, shimmery sneaks and knee pads. The clothes themselves were future-y in shape with rounded shoulders and new-fangled corsets. The combination of the protective-wear and Jane Jetson attire says, "women of the future will be well protected near and around the joints?" or something. Have a look below.
