In a tête–à–tête with E! News, Michael Costello, the designer behind Beyoncé's Grammys ensemble, revealed that the star was much smaller than he had expected. How small? Let's let him explain. "We didn't have any of her sizes or measurements. The dress was just made to fit a sample mannequin. It's smaller than a size 4. She is tiny! That dress is at least a 2/4. She looks amazing. I just love the way it all came together."
Cue reaction all over the place, from exclamations on ABC to think pieces on Huffington Post to a trainer who definitely doesn't work with Beyoncé weighing in on Life & Style. But perhaps the best reaction comes from the designer, who still sounds starstruck about the entire thing. "It's so special to me now—not only because Beyoncé wore it but also because I'm such a die-hard fan, like, I know every lyric," he rhapsodized to the Hollywood Reporter after the fact.
