In a resignation announcement heard round the fashion world, Cathy Horyn, top fashion critic for the New York Times, has resigned. According to WWD, "Horyn is understood to want to spend more time traveling."
To be fair, the fashion critic has had a busy series of seasons. She broke the news this year that Alexander Wang was headed to Balenciaga, threw incredibly creative shade at Hedi Slimane's Saint Laurent and she started the single greatest culinary-themed grudge match in fashion's history. Her words shall be missed next week at the start of New York Fashion Week.
