Skiing is incredible exercise—it's calorie-burning and muscle-toning—but a day on the slopes can often lead to intense soreness, especially for infrequent skiers. Resorts are increasingly responding to these and other issues such as tightness with après-ski yoga classes. Practitioners, meanwhile, vouch for a chaser of yoga, reporting that it can help stave off injury.
Our friends at Curbed Ski have rounded up five resorts where post-ski yoga sessions were common. Aspen offers complimentary yoga at the top of Aspen Mountain; guests to Telluride, meanwhile, can book a package of four days skiing broken up with twice daily yoga sessions.
