Mindy Kaling has answered the recent controversy over her Elle "Women in TV" cover in perfect Mindy fashion. To recap the issue, Mindy appeared on one of four covers, while Zooey Deschanel, Amy Poehler and Allison Williams individually graced the others. Mindy is the only one with a close-up shot. Mindy is the only one that's not a sample size. Dots were connected. Outrage ensued.
And yet. She tweeted this afternoon, "I love my @ELLEmagazine cover. It made me feel glamorous & cool. And if anyone wants to see more of my body, go on thirteen dates with me." She is perfection.
