Fashion Stars at the 'Girls' Premiere Make Up for Hannah's Style

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

The range of humans to walk the red carpet at the Girls season three premiere spanned musical legends, stars from around the television universe, fashion idols, and a whole designer contingent. Seriously Zac Posen, Erin Fetherston, Cynthia Rowley, Rebecca Minkoff, and Rachel Antonoff each took a turn. Brave leaders of fashion empires included Anna Wintour, who arrived in a Prada coat from the recent spring 2014 runway, and Jenna Lyons, who makes a cameo in the new season. Kim Gordan was there in Rodarte, as was Tracy Anderson. And then there was your usual Karlie and Hilary, doing their model thing. Sadly, the number of fashion power houses at the premier doesn't mean season three's style is going to get much better for the characters. We have that on good authority. Soak up all the gorgeous looks while you can below and brace yourself for more inappropriate choices and ill-fitting separates for the twenty-somethings in Lena Dunham's world.
