Things got rather awkward when Taylor Swift made an appearance on The Graham Norton Show last week. Former member of the Monty Python elite, John Cleese, successfully made the typically cool as a cucumber pop princess squirm in her seat for a whole three minutes. First off, Graham Norton noted that Taylor has major cat lady potential, which isn't surprising for either the public or Taylor considering her opinions on dating. Next, the audience awww-ed at Olivia Benson's cutest photo, but Cleese was not as impressed by the feline's features. His response was, "How did it have the accident?" The totally caught of guard Swift mumbled back, "What? What accident?" Then the bomb dropped, "That's the weirdest cat I've ever seen in my life." Check. Out. Taylor's. Face.
Her face waivers in and out of this awkward expression throughout the rest of the segment, as the question "What's wrong with my cat?" resounds in her head like a moving marquee sign. Don't worry Taylor, the British aren't exactly known for their compliments.
