Did Apple tap model Liu Wen to be the face of the Apple Watch? During the preview of the watch at Paris boutique Colette, Wen instagrammed a shot of herself trying on the watch and posted it with the caption: "My second meeting with the Apple Watch, this time in Colette! The first time? Well, you'll see soon."
Apple hasn't been shy about its plans to position itself as a more fashion-forward brand, hiring company executives with fashion backgrounds and convincing fashion editors to skip a day of NYFW to fly out to San Francisco for the original Apple Watch announcement. Karl Lagerfeld nearly skipped his own show to make an appearance at Colette for the preview. The watch is set to debut only a couple of months from now, in Spring 2015, so the official ad campaign should be breaking soon.
