Here's a sneak peek at the capsule collection French brand Sezane created with Madewell, which will be available in select stores and online tomorrow. Sezane apparently enjoys a "cult-following" over in France, and Madewell will be the first place to stock the line on our fair shores. According to Sezane's site, they're planning to launch in the US soon, so think of this as an intro to what very well might be the next Sandro or Maje invasion.
The selection includes collarless blouses, mini dresses, and wooden-heel boots in neutral hues that fit perfectly with the store's laid-back girly aesthetic. "I wanted to strike a balance between our two cities, Paris and New York," said Sezane designer Morgane Sezalory. "I imagined pieces for two women. First, a French woman trying to 'fit' in New York—she wants to be chic, but cool and casual in that way Americans do so well. Then I thought about an American woman wanting to bring a Parisian touch to her wardrobe. The colors are quiet, heels aren't too high."
Keep an eye on the La Superbe sweatshirt, which sold out in a few days when it was first released by Sezane. See the entire range in the gallery above.
