Vogue's Hamish Bowles got the scoop on more details surrounding Ellen DeGeneres's new venture into lifestyle and clothing design with the help of Chris Burch. The brand, dubbed E.D., is expected to launch with a capsule holiday collection and expand out from there to ceramics, stationary, rugs, bedding, candles, garden tools, and, of course, clothing.
According to Vogue, all items will be sold on the yet-to-be-launched E.D. website, coming in spring 2015. There will also be pop-up shops and retail partners (which haven't been named yet) selling the line in-store. When the time's right, Ellen will completely transition over to designing: "When I someday decide to stop doing the show," she said, "my entire focus is going to be design."
