Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has confirmed via Instagram that there is a Baywatch movie in the works, and he is going to be patrolling the beach. Johnson's enthusiastic caption reads:

This is my beach bitch! Rumors are true... we're making #BAYWATCH the movie. Edgy, raunchy and hopefully, funny as all hell. Cue slo mo running on the beach... #WhoNeedsMouthToMouth #RedShortsBeHugginABrotha

Johnson may be one of the first to use the #RedShortBeHuggingABrotha hashtag, but he certainly won't be the last.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Paramount has nabbed Justin Maler, writer of the Bad Teacher 2 script as well as Sean Anders and John Morris of We're the Millers as co-directors, making this a sure winner come Oscars season. It's a shoo-in.
