Think fur is just for grandmas? Think again. Here's how @we_are_fur is making #FurNow happen: http://t.co/2NAsI5kUKb pic.twitter.com/BSWkcmdjRJ

Nylon magazine's new editor in chief Michelle Lee said she wanted the magazine to be "rebellious." Is unapologetically pushing the fur industry what she meant? Styleite has major problems with Nylon's tweet and related story backing the #FurNow campaign by Fur Federation, in which Nylon writes things like, "And now fur even has its own super-cool hashtag."
Styleite published the tweets and Facebook comments of many readers who were offended by the Nylon fur story, including celeb Ricky Gervais:
"@NylonMag: Think fur is just for grandmas? " < Not the word I'd use, no.
— Ricky Gervais (@rickygervais) October 3, 2014
Styleite asserts: "Millennials and are now more acutely aware than ever that fur isn't obtained from animals who died peacefully in their sleep after leading a long and fulfilling life in the jungle. With this and the plethora of high end faux pieces on the market, it's baffling that a magazine like Nylon would think this would fly over their readers heads. Well, it isn't."
