Tyra Banks now has her own cosmetic line, TYRA Beauty, and of course, her eye products fall under a category called "Smize." Take Tyra's trademark "art of smiling with your eyes" to the next level with Smack My Fast Lash mascara and Oops Liner. TYRA Beauty also includes TYover contouring sticks and It Factory lip colors.
In addition to smizing, Banks invented a new word to describe the project: Beautytainment, "where beauty and entertainment collide." Maybe it's easier to let her describe it. Per the TYRA Beauty website:
We preach and teach the power of tooching booties, strutting thighs, posing tips, and smizing eyes. We make you look and feel more beautiful than you ever thought possible! With my beauty secrets and secret beauty weapons, this cosmetics experience is all about Beauty. Business. Badassery.People Stylewatch reports that Banks' cosmetic line will be sold by independent contractors called "Beautytainers," who will throw parties at their homes and sell products online. According to the TYRA Beauty site, Banks' cosmetic line is a 100% self-funded startup, and Banks is using the skills she learned from completing Harvard Business School's three-year Owner/President Management Program. In fact, she went to Harvard with the goal of building her cosmetic brand. "My dream is to create a legacy brand that gives everyone access to become an entrepreneur," Banks writes on her website. "I'm a business, man. And you can be, too!"
