Lisa Gersh has been named Goop's new CEO, nearly six months after the previous CEO announced his departure following alleged disagreements with Gwyneth Paltrow about Goop's creative direction. Before Goop, Gersh worked as president and CEO of Martha Stewart's media empire and co-founder, president, and COO of Oxygen Media.

According to the press release, Gersh will focus on expanding Goop's digital presence into physical, real world experiences. So far, her plans for Goop include more pop-up shops, expanded collaborations with designers including Stella McCartney and Diane von Furstenburg, and eventually rolling out the company's own Goop label.
