Despite the very serious trials and tribulations White House Security is currently experiencing, bridal designer Vera Wang and J.Crew's Jenna Lyons were stopped by the Secret Service while entering the White House for Michelle Obama's Fashion Education Workshop Wednesday night. The hiccup confirms what we already know: Those are two shady characters.
According to Page Six's anonymous source, agents "pulled Vera and Jenna aside and out of the line because of an issue with the guest list. After being held 20 minutes off to the side, they were both finally allowed in, but it was embarrassing. [...] A knife-wielding intruder can make it into the White House, but they stop Vera Wang?"
#fashionedu @reachhigher2020 Class of 2014! (Yes, I'm the only one doing the ✌️. I swear they told people to do "something fun")
The issue was apparently a classic case of mixed up passport and driver license information, but how—how!—did those ne'er do wells like Diane von Furstenberg and Eva Chen make it in without a hitch?
