Keira Knightley Plays Anthropologist to Croc-Wearing Silicon Valley Elite

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

While in Los Angeles, Keira Knightley paid a visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live where she discussed screening The Imitation Game in Silicon Valley. Keira observed Silicon Valley fashion at its most pure, rubbing shoulders with tech moguls like Yuri Milner, Mark Zuckerberg, Sergey Brin, as well as other "rich Google people." Unsurprisingly, she saw lots of hoodies and Crocs, which you can encounter in photographic proof below. She admits that the tech-loved footwear actually made more sense for the outdoor setting than her high-heeled shoes, which sunk into the grass. Crocs: 1; Heels: 0.
