Holiday retail competition is already on the verge of insanity, so if you're planning to shop in between now and New Year's, it'll help to know which days are the most crucial for what deals. Savings.com recently published a handy study that breaks down the best days for holiday shopping, by category.

For toys, November 26th is listed as the day to find the best deals, but electronics were apparently already at their biggest discounts back on November 1st. The best time to buy apparel will be on Cyber Monday, but for all other typical gift items, its better to wait until December 15th, when many retailers will host last-ditch sales in the big push right before Christmas.
