Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

For Wonderland magazine's November/December issue, Taylor Swift ditched the fake-laugh-and-hand-above-the-head positioning—the providence of so many covers past—for a neutral pout, championed by teenage boys and models alike. The "Blank Space" singer is wearing very little makeup aside from those bronze cheeks, her eyebrows are on fleek, and she's styled in a cozy white sweater. Not a sequin in the vicinity.
