Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

J.Crew is the latest brand to dress up Band-Aids. Boxes of geometric print BAND-AID® Brand Adhesive Bandages by J.Crew are already available in stores, and coming soon online. And there's a Crewcuts Band-Aid collab too, with bandages printed with lightning bolts, camo, and cutesy phrases like "hug me" and "je t'aime." Prettying up your wounds to be so J.Crew will set you back $5 a box.
