There are apparently only so many desks to go around at Condé Nast's new headquarters at One World Trade Center. WWD reports that Glamour magazine cut four staffers right before the big move to their new office in the building. Staffers laid off include the magazine's excutive editor and a 14-year Glamour veteran.
GQ reportedly laid off staffers on the magazine's digital side earlier in the month, according to the New York Post. And Teen Vogue reportedly cut two staffers in October. WWD writes: "At the company, it has been commonplace for magazines prepping for their move to endure layoffs." Yikes. At least everyone's stuff is already boxed up?
