TJX Stores, the parent company of T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, Home Goods, and Sierra Trading Post, has announced that, like Costco, its locations will be closed for Gray Thursday (aka Thanksgiving). TJX stores won't open until it is actually Black Friday. "We consider ourselves an Associate-friendly Company, and, we are pleased to give our Associates the time to enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends," a company spokesperson told Think Progress. Stores are scheduled to open between 5am to 7am on Friday, depending on the chain and location.
