The art world has finally taken notice of the artist known as Miley Cyrus. If you've been paying attention, she's been trying to be taken seriously for her Instagram collages and homemade barrettes for, like, six months. Early on, her work in the neon stoner genre earned the attention of V Magazine and designer Jeremy Scott, and now she's received an invite to perform at Art Basel's opening party. No word on how the "work" will take shape, but if her past "pieces" (and Instagram) is any guide, it will likely involve inflatable dolls, unicorns, phallic devices, and pizza.
