The United Nations Has Given Yoga Its Own Day

The United Nations officially declared June 21 to be a day the world should dedicate to yoga. According to Talking Points Memo, the U.N. General Assembly approved a resolution by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi asking that a day be commemorated as the International Day of Yoga. Modi suggested that yoga can help unite the world on important issues like climate change. Mark your calendars, namaste.
