Nike's hotshot young CIO Anthony Watson has ditched the company after just 10 months because he couldn't stand living in Portland, Fortune reports.
Business Insider quotes sources that say Watson, who moved to the US from London for Nike, loved working for the brand but found Portland "boring." As one said to Fortune: "As a single gay guy from London, [Watson] underestimated what it would be like. It was a culture shock. And there's no point in having a great job if you feel unhappy with your surroundings."
