Dov Charney is done at American Apparel, the company he founded more than 10 years ago. The embattled CEO, who has been keeping a foothold in American Apparel as a consultant since his suspension back in mid-July, was ousted after the company determined that he violated the terms of his employment agreement. Paula Schneider, a well-known retail executive who has formerly worked for Laundry by Shelli Segal and BCBG Max Azria, has already been named to replace Charney as American Apparel's new CEO, effective January 5th.
