Is Gucci considering Hedi Slimane for creative director now that Frida Giannini is out? According to a Page Six report, he's at the top of parent company Kering's list of possible replacements. It's an interesting development: Slimane is well-versed in brand revamping and has made a name for himself as a designer who knows how to translate designs into sales, even while weathering widespread criticism. Riccardo Tisci of Givenchy and Joesph Altuzarra are rumored to be the other two top contenders for the title.
