Abercrombie & Fitch's new business plan includes more fragrances. According to a press release, the company is partnering with Inter Parfums to develop new scents for both Abercrombie and Hollister. The seven-year exclusive worldwide fragrance license agreement will allow Inter Parfums to create and distribute these new men's and women's fragrances abroad in specialty retailers, high-end department stores, and duty free shops.
Abercrombie & Fitch just rolled out two new Fierce scents this fall, and obviously sees a big future in fragrance. "We already have a successful fragrance business and believe that, with Inter Parfums as our partner, we can leverage this into a much larger global opportunity," A&F COO Jonathan Ramsden said in a press release.
