Instagram added new five filters yesterday, which is kind of a big deal considering the app hasn't added a single filter to its selection since 2012. The new filters—named Slumber, Crema, Ludwig, Aden, and Perpetua—will be listed at the front of your filter tray, and there's a preview function that will let users quickly judge how their photos will look with different filters. On Instagram's blog, the company states that they think the new filters are their best yet. Our friends over at The Verge have already weighed in, writing that the new Instagram filters look "subtler and more realistically filmic" than previous filters.
