When Randall Park Mall was built in Cleveland in 1976, it was heralded as the planet's biggest mall. That legacy ends this week. CNN Money reports that a demolition crew started wiping the Randall Park Mall off the face of the earth on Monday. The mall has been in abandoned since 2009 and has been featured in "mall ruin porn"-style photo essays. An industrial park will replace what once was Cleveland's biggest and glitziest shopping hub.
