Stores couldn't keep selfie sticks in stock this holiday season. That's how appealing the device—a retractable pole one carries around for easier smartphone selfie-ing—is. Bloomberg reports that Americans bought 100,000 of selfie sticks in December alone. So don't be surprised if someone breaks out a selfie stick at that NYE party tonight.
