Once the mall's leading source for homecoming dresses, WWD reports that Deb Shops has filed a Chapter 11 petition for bankruptcy court protection and that the company's board had voted to liquidate the chain. Deb currently operates 295 stores, selling trendy clothes, footwear and accessories for juniors.
