According to the wizards at Pantone, the dominant color of 2015 will be a wine-hued shade called marsala. Leatrice Eiseman, the executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, describes it as a "subtly seductive shade, one that draws us into its embracing warmth," and commenters on Pantone's Facebook page are already noting how much more wearable it is compared to last year's radiant orchid.
In case you want to get ahead of the curve, Pantone already has a guide up that details how to add a little more marsala to every part of your life.
