George Clooney, man of extravagant nuptials and owner of his own Downton Abbey-like estate/private island, is playing a part in Downton Abbey's Christmas special, airing at 9pm on the holiday in the UK. But the world can watch a whole seven seconds of the actor playing a Grantham guest in a clip released for charity.

In it, Cora (Elizabeth McGovern) mistakes Clooney for Lord Grantham (Hugh Bonneville), which, like, you know, okay right (no offense, Hugh!) McGovern, who is said to lock lips with the actor in the episode, recently told The Daily Beast, "It was special for me because there was a scripted kiss. I have not been quite the same ever since. He's truly as charming as you'd hope him to be, and smart, and has his heart in the right place."
