Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Welcome to Beauty Diary: Seven days of getting glam with an industry insider. From publicists to professional makeup artists, this is a week in the life of someone who lives and breathes beauty.

Fashion week can take a lot out of even the seasoned vets, but Deborah Lippmann went into the week with a plan. Meditation, BluePrintCleanse juices, and regular yoga practice help keep the in-demand nail guru aligned despite her demanding schedule.

Her grueling, but glamorous, week included developing nail colors for Honor, creating a manicure to mimic the Chola lips at Band of Outsiders, and trying on the sparkly shoes backstage at Badgley Mischka before they hit the runway (#perks). Click through for a peak inside Deborah's world during one of her biggest weeks.
