In the alternate universe that's Kate Upton's world, she gets one high fashion editorial for every dude-boob-thing she does. See how she goes from Sports Illustrated to Vogue, from Vanity Fair to Golf Digest and from Hot Pockets to the Marc Jacobs runway. Girl is consistent in her inconsistencies. So, it's no surprise that after her most recent ventures in "space" for Sports Illustrated, she's showing up again in Carine Roitfeld's mostly serious fashion mag CR Fashion Book shot by Karl Lagerfeld.
These two spreads are possibly the most extreme on the Kate spectrum yet. For the Roitfeld spread, entitled "Ferocious" (subtitled: "Once upon a time, beauty met beastly and liked it"), she dons Dior, Celine, Altuzarra, Prada and Agent Provocateur corsets topped off with a Maison Martin Margiela scarf. In Sports Illustrated, she wears Target bikinis while being squirted by water in an anti-gravity chamber. For CR, gone are the bouncy long curls and natural makeup. Instead she sports a cropped 'do and classic red lip. Say what you will about Kate "The Boobs" Upton, but don't say she isn't game for a challenge.
